Hey everyone, Steven here again! I recently had the pleasure of visiting a family I’ve grown quite fond of for another newborn photography session right in their cozy Maryland home. This time, the star of the show was their newest addition, a vibrant three-week-old boy who was all about staying awake and soaking in his surroundings.
packed up my studio setup and a bunch of adorable newborn props and set up camp in their living room. The aim was to create that perfect blend of a professional studio look within the comfort and intimacy of their home. Despite all the gear and setup, the vibe remained relaxed and heartwarmingly homely.
What made this session stand out was just how alert and strong this little guy was. He wasn’t too keen on sleeping through his big debut, giving us plenty of opportunities to capture his wide-eyed wonder and lively personality. But, of course, we also caught those precious moments of sleep, showing off his peaceful, angelic side.
The whole family was a dream to work with. They were chill, trusting, and just let the session unfold naturally, which really makes all the difference. It’s that trust and ease that let us capture genuine, tender moments that they’ll now be able to look back on forever.
By the end of it, we had a beautiful collection of photos that truly captured the essence of their family at this special time. It’s sessions like these that remind me why I love doing what I do so much.
